Hi Jean Louise, John and everyone else! jean Louise, please don't feel like you are sending your thoughts no where. I enjoy reading them very much and am struck at how similar our thought patterns are. Maybe it's common for people who like to read about Betty to have similar personalities but some of the things you've written have really struck a chord with me--especially the post you made about being 15 minutes from home and wanting to get home as fast as you could. I ALWAYS feel that way! i work at a school so I have summers off but during the first weeks back I'm struck with the most awful case of homesickness--and my house is something like five minutes away. I am a homebody, through and through. I would like to be home all the time but I know that I need to get out once in a while or I would spend my days reading, watching Mission Impossible and Simon and Simon on television, and probably eating my way into a muumuu. So please keep posting! I like to think that there are people out there who love Betty as much as I do. I reread Onions this past weekend and really enjoyed the chapters on adolescence. My oldest son has been, shall I say, "challenging" lately so i need Betty's insight! I totally agree with you that she was gifted at reading people. That story about Dorita was very creepy. Betty was much nicer to her and more tolernt than i would have been. Keep posting!

Ditto to everything Raejay just said!I know sometimes I will just take a quick peek and read posts without commenting- but it is always great to read the posts-clearly everyone feels the same!

Hello, again! Please let's reserve the Housekeeping topic for, well, housekeeping. Kindly borrow a theme and restart this conversation under General Discussion. In the long run, not to do so will make following threads more difficult and confuse new users. I cannot imagine these simple changes affect your credibility. -FA
