Okay, everyone ... I think it's time for Betty to get a facelift, don't you? The site looking old and tired? Let's spice it up - give us some suggestions!!

Well, the seasonal flora hasn't been changed in months, so that would be a start. I like the idea that it's Pacific Northwest-related. Maybe other sorts of pictures/illustrations/photography from the area? Chimacum, Port Ludlow, Port Townsend photos at the top, along with photos of the farmhouse on Egg and I Road? MacDonald/Bard/Heskett family photos scrolling by?

I like those ideas, Suz. Did you notice, though, that we do have "scrolling" photos, on the home page. The one large window alternates photos from the gallery. But i need to upload more to choose from. Contributing photos welcomed!

In the Egg and I, Betty mentions that the rhododendron is the "native flower of the State of Washington, maybe that could be incorporated somewhere.

Great idea! You're really a fan if you know why the first photo should be of purple rhododendrons massed in front of yellow stucco houses!
