The LA Times recently did a feature story about the Betty MacDonald Farm B & B on Vashon Island. Be sure to check it out!

Okay, this is something I absolutely have to do: spend a long weekend here. I think I have met the Paula from Juneau who is referred to in the article. I think she visited the art gallery I managed a few years back and somehow the subject of Betty came up----as it usually does when two fans get together, even if they don't know each other from Adam beforehand----and we talked about Judith Lawrence and her family relationship to Betty, and what a great idea the B&B is. I wish Ms. Lawrence the best of everything and am so pleased that she (and Betty) were recognized in this article.

I highly recommend it, Suz. I went a few years ago and loved the farm. It is situated on a bluff, so you get a great view of the Sound, and there is a small deck that is perfect for sitting & enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning! Judith has done a great job with the B & B and it was hard to leave!
