What has happened to this site? I thought a new site was being built months ago? Also the Betty MacDonald Facebook has seemed to have vanished. Has Betty gone underground?

The site seems to be very quiet. Anyway I have obtained a copy of Paula Becker's book and have read about half of it. Interesting read so far with quite a bit of background about Betty's real life compared to what she wrote in her books.

I've read Anne Wellmans but not this one yet, but looking forward to reading it!

I have just finished reading "Looking for Betty MacDonald" and really enjoyed it. It was very well researched and referenced.It provides some insight into the real Betty and her family in contrast to that portrayed in her books. Paula was given access to a lot of Betty's papers still retained by her family so was able to include a lot of material which was new.
