Hi Everyone.

I write these words with a heavy heart;
As of February of this year, I have been associated with Betty Macdonald for 12 years. In those 12 years I have spent countless days and hours to compile 1000’s of documents on Betty; I have suffered 5 heart attacks and, in 2012 I had an 8 heart bypass and recently my beloved dog, Princess Elizabeth, had a triple mastectomy. In July I will be 61. The purpose of this post is to let everyone know that I am retiring as Media Coordinator for The Friends of Betty Macdonald. I will still be available for questions on Betty and, her life.
Like all of you I have read all of Betty’s books. When I first joined “Seattle Press Online” all I has was a name on a wee bit of scrap paper. Other than the fact I knew Betty wrote books,, I know nothing about her. Now, 12 years later, thanks to all of you wonderful people sharing leads with me, I have gathered enough information on Betty to write 5 books. I am just sad that I was unable to find a lot on Don.
I want to thank all of you for your wonderful help and, all of your great questions. Thank you Dorothy for sharing, and, Debbie for all of her great help. love you all !
