I just finished a new (I think) biography of Betty by Paula Becker - "Looking for Betty MacDonald". I have to admit it doesn't pull many punches but it appears the author did her research and had the help of many of the surviving members of Betty's family. I have to admit I enjoyed it, but know some of you might have had some problems with the tone of it.
