Today we have made a few modest layout changes in preparation for some new features we will add this Spring. The new "horizontal" format lets us squeeze a bit more information upward on most pages. Some of the main menu links that were less frequently clicked have been moved inside onto related pages.

You may notice a Sign In link at upper right. For now most of you can safely ignore it. This is part of the new way we'll be organizing membership and - he added hopefully - subscriptions. It is not now related to the forums, where you must sign in in the usual way.

Notwithstanding our unassailably brilliant sense of organization and design, we recognize that the success of the site depends on contributions from and participation by YOU. So if you have ideas about how we might better organize or present information, send your comments. Please be fairly specific: "Make it better" or "Make it prettier" don't really help much.
